In the News and Upcoming Workshops

I would like to share two articles. The first is about Obama’s parenting style.

I was interviewed by Andie Coller and was pleased that she included my emphasis on the philosophy of Alfred Adler as the foundation for all Positive Discipline books.

For the second article, I was interviewed by Christine Zilius Mason for the Santa Cruz Sentinel regarding a lecture I will be presenting in Santa Cruz January 14.
http://www.santacruzsentinel.com/localnews/ci_11422675 It provides a very nice summary of the vision of Positive Discipline.

I will also be presenting a lecture for parents in Visalia

Two-Day Workshops on Teaching Parenting the Positive Discipline Way
One of the best ways to improve your skills as a parent is to facilitate parenting classes. And, the best training to become a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator is to attend a two-day workshop on Teaching Parenting the Positive Discipline Way.
Lynn Lott and I will be presenting one of these workshops on February 7-8 in Sacramento, and I will be presenting another on March 14-15 in the San Fernando Valley, CA For more information, go to www.positivediscipline.com

For other locations for this workshop presented by many Certified Positive Discipline Associates, go to www.posdis.org. I promise you will love these workshops because they are fun and experiential—and you will learn so much.
